PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration-control reinforcing technology for a steel column-beam joint, which simplifies manufacture, which enables homogeneous bending deformation with respect to a direction of a line of flexure, which can obtain smooth energy absorption, and which is applied to the joint between a steel column and a steel beam. SOLUTION: Intermediate portions except mounting portions 4 and 5 on both the sides of a vibration-control reinforcing metal 1 applied to the joint between the steel column 2 and the steel beam 3 are formed in such an accordion shape as to be alternately bent along the plurality of lines of flexure almost radially elongated around the inside corner of the joint; an angle of bend of each of bent portions is set almost constant throughout the length of the line of flexure; and the height of each of the bent portions is gradually increased outward from the side nearer to the corner.
