PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring device which allows an external storage medium as a USB memory to be removed/inserted safely and easily, and whose installation space is possibly reduced. SOLUTION: An operation panel 13 is provided so as to project upwards from an upper surface of a casing 11, and a side surface 28 thereof is positioned inward of a side edge 29 of the casing 11. Further a USB port 14 is provided on the side surface 28 of the operation panel 13. Thereby the USB memory 15 does not excessively protrude from the side edge 29 of a spectrophotometer 10 when the USB memory 15 is removed/inserted from/to the USB port 14, and thus it is not required to secure extra space for removing/inserting the USB memory 15.
