Provided is a method, comprising outputting, from a controller to a display driver, data for causing the display driver to drive a display of a printing apparatus to display a user interface for designing labels, wherein the user interface comprises a first image representative of the appearance of a label medium and an image representative of a slide bar, wherein the slide bar comprises a slider at a first position on a track; and in response to receiving, at the controller from a selector, information representative of an operation of the selector by a user to select a second position on the track, which second position is different from the first position; outputting, from the controller to the display driver, data for causing the display driver to drive the display to display a second image representative of the appearance of the label medium, wherein the second image representative of the appearance of the label medium has a size dependent on the location of the second position on the track.
