<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting diode that is enhanced in optical output. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting diode is disclosed, wherein the light extraction efficiency of a device is enhanced by forming patterns on a substrate, forming a light emitting structure on the substrate with the patterns formed thereon, removing the substrate from the light emitting structure, and forming patterns corresponding to those formed on the substrate on a surface of the light emitting structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
