<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of a wireless communication apparatus for performing handover by using a different communication system. <P>SOLUTION: In a wireless communication system including a terminal device existing in a network, a first wireless communication apparatus, and a second wireless communication network, when performing handover, the first wireless communication apparatus transmits participation information for participating in the network to the second wireless communication apparatus by an NFC (Near Field Communication) when the first wireless communication apparatus is connected to the terminal device through a wireless LAN (Local Area Network) and the first wireless communication apparatus participates in the network.
