<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light uniformizing element which erases a lamp image by uniformly emitting incident light from a plurality of light sources in a configuration wherein the distance between the light sources and the light uniformizing element is shorter or a configuration wherein intervals of the light sources are wider, and a backlight unit and a display which use this light uniformizing element. <P>SOLUTION: The light uniformizing element includes such a structure that a light propagation layer 23 and a light deflecting element 28 are provided in a light incidence surface of a light diffusing layer 26 having light scattering particles dispersedly mixed in a resin, wherein the light diffusing layer 26 includes at least two layers of a first resin layer 26A containing aspherical particles having an average particle size of 1 to 6μm as the light scattering particles and a second resin layer 26B containing completely spherical particles having an average particle size of 1 to 6μm as the light scattering particles, and a refractive index difference between the aspherical particles and the resin is 0.1 to 0.18, and a refractive index difference between the completely spherical particles and the resin is 0.1 to 0.18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
