PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient laundry drying apparatus capable of being automatically moved between indoors and outdoors by opening/closing an open/close body disposed in an opening without changing the attitude when the laundry to be dried are hung, and capable of completely closing the opening. SOLUTION: An outdoor conveying rail 12 is provided at a veranda 3, and an indoor conveying rail 13 is mounted indoors 4. An indoor end 12a of the outdoor conveying rail 12 is made to face an outdoor end 13a of the indoor conveying rail 13 via a sash 7, so that the sash 7 can be closed. A conveyor 14, composed of a plurality of hanger bars 16 connected by connectors 26 in such a way as movable to the outdoor conveying rail 12 and to the indoor conveying rail 13, is disposed. When rainfall is detected by a rainfall detection sensor 9 in the veranda 3, the sash 7 is automatically opened, and the conveyor 14 on which the laundry 8 is hung is automatically conveyed from the veranda 3 to the indoors 4. Since the sash 7 is automatically opened and the conveyor 14 can be moved without changing the attitude while hanging the laundry 8. the laundry can be conveniently dried indoors directly.
