RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR RUBBER MEMBER UNDER BELT AND PNEUMATIC TIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve extrusion moldability, while achieving low-heat-generation. SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire includes a pad-shaped or tape-shaped rubber member (9) under a belt extending in a tire peripheral direction between an end part of the belt (7) in a tire shoulder part (8) and a carcass ply (5). The rubber composition to be used in the rubber member (9) under the belt includes 10-50 pts.wt. of a filler made of only carbon black or carbon black and silica of smaller amount than that of the carbon black relative to 100 pts.wt. of diene-based rubber mainly made of natural rubber and 2-15 pts.wt. of lignin sulfonate relative to the filler.
