PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a translucent member having antireflection function and a sufficiently high hardness to secure a scratch resistance, a timepiece including such a translucent member, and a manufacturing method of such a translucent member. SOLUTION: The translucent member 10 includes on a substrate 11, an antireflection layer 12 in which high-refractive index layers 12A and 12C made from silicon nitride and low-refractive index layers 12B and 12D made of silicon oxide are alternately stacked. The hardness of the high-refractive index layers 12A and 12C are 50,000 Ns/mm<SP>2</SP>or more, and the hardness of the low-refractive index layers 12B and 12D are 15,000 Ns/mm<SP>2</SP>or more.
