PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical device capable of improving seal performance and durability at the lead terminal portion. SOLUTION: The electrochemical device is provided with an outer package film 4, an electrochemical element housed in the outer package film 4, lead terminals 5, 6 connected to the electrochemical element, and a sealing film 7 to cover a part of the lead terminals 5, 6. The seal portion 4d of the outer package film 4 is welded in a state the lead terminals 5, 6 are interposed through the sealing film 7.
