A device for intervention in a high magnetic field comprises an elongate shaft with a tip portion, and a passive LC-circuit or a plurality of passive LC circuits positioned at the tip portion, wherein the LC-circuit is formed as an inductor-capacitor resonator. By the magnetic field of an MRI, the LC-circuit will be activated to oscillate. Said oscillation will result in a response magnetic field which in turn will be sensed by the MRI unit so that the LC-circuit and therefore the tip portion of the device is visible in the MRI-image. By way of this, the guiding of the device is facilitated.
