The invention relates to a laminated material including a high-density foam core (2) having a stainless steel sheet (1) secured to one face thereof and another metal sheet (3), optionally stainless steel, secured to the other face of same, which material is machined using traditional carpentry machines, i.e. with alternately toothed discs or widia milling cutters that are controlled digitally, cooled by oil and have suitable revolutions/forward motion ratios. In order to affix the metal sheets to the core, the sheets are smoothed, coated with a primer, dried in a furnace and coated with a special adhesive, the central core undergoes a surface treatment and, subsequently, the sheets are affixed to the central core. |
