The arrangement has a u-shaped guiding web (1) for guiding a workpiece carrier (2). The u-shaped guiding web exhibits ends (3, 4) and forms a guiding plane (1a) for accommodating the workpiece carrier. The workpiece carrier lies on the guiding plane, and is guidable from one of the ends to the other end. A transport unit (5) transports the workpiece carrier and guides the workpiece carrier from the former end to the latter end outside the u-shaped guiding web, where the transport unit is designed as a rollable carriage.
