The method involves scanning a test object in a preset test region using an X-ray-phase contrast-computed tomography with influence of directive sonic- or ultrasonic waves. A position of an interference pattern, which is generated in X-ray radiation by a phase grid, is determined for each scanned X-ray radiation. Tomography result-image data sets are generated based on the determined positions of the interference patterns, for representing elasticity of spatial elements. The image data sets are optically displayed, stored and/or utilized. An independent claim is also included for a phase contrast-computed tomography-system comprising a shockwave generator.
