<p>The hydraulic power assisted steering (2) has a steering unit (14) with a direction valve (18) and a second steering unit with a steering valve (15). Connections are for left and right steering movements, and a supply connection is for the hydraulic tank connection (24). The steering valve is connected to the left/right connection by the direction valve. When the direction valve is in the neutral position, a through passage (39,40) is formed between the steering valve and the left/night connection. A change-over valve (29), with a operating valve (23), is between the steering valve and the steering unit with one setting giving a connection between the steering unit and the tank connection and, in a second setting, a connection between the steering valve and the steering unit.</p> |
