<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which can promptly detect an abnormal action of a selective drainage without being affected by an electric field formed on the ground by a leakage current originating in a rail, and to provide a system therefor. <P>SOLUTION: This detecting method includes: a monitoring step of monitoring a drainage current I<SB>UDD</SB>of which the direction flowing from a pipe line P to a rail R through the selective drainage 1 is considered to be plus, and also monitoring a potential difference R/P between the rail which works as a driving force that passes the drainage current and the buried metal pipe line; an abnormality determination step of determining the abnormality of the selective drainage 1 based on the consistency between the state of plus/minus/zero in the monitored value of the drainage current I<SB>UDD</SB>and a working state of the selective drainage 1 based on the potential difference R/P; and an abnormality notification step of notifying the abnormality when the abnormality has been determined to have occurred in the abnormality determining step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
