<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas decomposition composite that is small sized and has high decomposition efficiency and low pressure drop loss, and whose durability over shock or vibration is high, and a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The gas decomposition composite 10 includes a porous metal 1 that composes the base body of the gas composition composite and a reaction section 20 in which a plurality of granules are connected, which are positioned on a surface of the porous metal, the reaction section 20 contains materials composing cathode, electrolyte, and anode for electrochemical reaction, and the porous metal is composed of three-dimensional mesh-like metallic body having air holes that continue isotropically. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
