<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fusing device capable of securing separability of a recording medium and attaining miniaturization and reduction in cost. <P>SOLUTION: A fusing roller 21 has a positive crown part C1, whose outer circumferential surface is formed in a positive crown shape, and an inverted-crown part C2, whose outer circumferential surface is formed alternately in an inverted-crown shape in an axial direction. A pressing member 23 has a convex section D1, formed in a convex shape and a concave section D2 formed in a concave shape in a longitudinal direction alternately; the fusing device is configured, such that the concave section D2 of the pressing member 23 is pressed in accordance against the positive crown part C1 of the fusing roller 21; and the convex section D1 of the pressing member 23 is pressed in accordance against the reverse crown part C2 of the fusing roller 21. Furthermore, the fusing device is configured, such that the pressure of the pressing member 23 against the fusing roller 21 is larger at the center section than at the edge section of a fusing nip. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
