PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which can dispense with time and effort for mounting a signal line even when numerous lighting fixtures are arranged in a comparatively wide range such as a factory or the like and can widen an operable range without limiting remote control of a user at a narrow range and hardly restrains arrangement for a plurality of lighting fixtures. SOLUTION: In the system for performing remote lighting control of a plurality of discharge lamps 1, stabilizers 2 arranged on respective discharge lamps 1 respectively have exclusive radio sections 5, and control sections 6 for transmitting and receiving control information to/from the radio section 5. When either of the radio sections 5 receives a command signal for control from the outside, the received command signal is transferred to the other stabilizer, control information based on the received command signal is transmitted to the self control section 6, and control of the discharge lamp is carried out on the basis of the command signal.
