PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a droplet discharge device excelling in production efficiency for suppressing deterioration of image quality, by making streak irregularity non-prominent, and to provide a droplet discharge method and a method for fabricating a color filter. SOLUTION: The droplet discharge device includes: a droplet discharge head 5, having a plurality of nozzles and a plurality of drive elements; a supply reel 12 for supplying a sheet member 15; a winding reel 13 for winding the sheet member 15; an imaging device 14 for photographing images of a discharged functional liquid; an analyzing means 32 for image-treating images photographed with an imaging device 14, measuring an impact area on the sheet member 15 of the functional liquid, and obtaining distribution of a discharge amount of the functional liquid discharged from the plurality of the nozzles; and a control means 31 for regulating, from the distribution, a voltage applied on the plurality of the drive elements so that the discharge amount in the plurality of the nozzles approximates a prescribed proper amount. The sheet member 15 includes a sheet base material; a partition layer, having a plurality of openings larger than an impact diameter of the functional liquid; and ink receiving layers provided in each opening.
