PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a backflow preventing valve member which is fitted to a drain trap for a bathroom. SOLUTION: The drain trap for the bathroom includes a water reservoir arranged under the floor of a washing place to receive the drainage water flowing from the washing place and a bathtub, and a valve member to prevent the drainage water from the washing place from flowing back to the bathtub and to allow the drainage water from the bathtub to flow into the water reservoir. The valve member is fixed to the water reservoir by engaging an engaging projection formed on the valve member with an engaging groove formed in the water reservoir. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
