PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing rubber for electrolytic capacitor, favorable in liquid resistance to an electrolyte and heat resistance, applicable to a wide temperature range from -40°C to 150°C and not corroding an electrode material such as aluminum or the like. SOLUTION: The sealing rubber for electrolytic capacitor is characterized by consisting of perfluoropolyesther-based fluororubber obtained by crosslinking a perfluoropolyesther-based fluororubber composition using a perfluoro compound having a perfluoropolyesther unit in a main chain as a base polymer. There can be obtained the sealing rubber for electrolytic capacitor having solvent resistance to the electrolyte, chemical resistance and heat resistance of 150°C never achieved by a conventional butyl rubber, excellent in low temperature characteristic of -40°C, and not corroding the electrode material such as aluminum because sulfur is not used in crosslinking, by using the perfluoropolyesther-based fluororubber as the sealing rubber material of the electrolytic capacitor.
