PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw for injection molding machine, in which a screw head, when broken or worn, is replaced with good productivity. SOLUTION: The screw (100) for injection molding machine includes: a screw body part (2) rotatably housed within a cylinder (1); and a screw head (3) provided in the front of the screw body part (2). The screw head 3 includes: a tip part 4 which pushes a resin material introduced into the cylinder (1) to a nozzle portion (1a) at the leading end of the cylinder (1); a melt part (5) which shears and melts the resin material; and a shaft part (6) which connects the tip part (4) to the screw body part (2), the tip part (4), the melt part (5) and the shaft part (6) being mutually separable. Accordingly, only a part which is broken or worn is removed and replaced without detaching the whole body of the screw head (3) from the screw body part (2). COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
