<p>The invention relates to vehicles, in particular to a machine that travels on a monorail having a rectangular cross-section, which machine comprises an aerodynamic fuselage, two supporting arms with a hook on the end, each hook having a wheel mounted thereon which rotates with the aid of a bolt and a bearing, and faceplates or springs that are attached on each side of the wheel for preventing the wheel from being displaced along the bolt. A rectangular slot-like opening that coincides with the surface of the rectangular monorail is made in the wheel so that it makes it possible for the wheel to be firmly supported by the rail and slide thereon. The other ends of the arms are fastened to the fuselage. A gear train comprises a first gear, a second gear, a load chain and an engine that can be a combustion engine or an electric motor. The engine chassis is attached to the fuselage. The first gear is secured on the axis of the engine, while the second gear is firmly fastened to one of the wheels in order to synchronize the rotation thereof. The load chain connects the two gears in order to actuate the wheel engine so that the wheel can roll and pull the machine forward.</p> |
