Particulate material having multiple curable coatings and methods for making and using same

Coated particles are disclosed comprising a particulate substrate, at least one layer of a first curable resin substantially surrounding the substrate, and at least one layer of a second curable resin substantially surrounding the layer of the first resin. Also disclosed are processes for producing such curable resins and uses of the coated particles in subterranean formulations or in forming a gravel packing about a well bore.
