Screen installation with air cleaning modules

A screen installation for a traffic route comprises a vertical carrier and an electrostatic collecting device connected to the carrier to collect particles, such as fine dust, contained in the environment. The collecting device comprises at least one module with a collecting material which is electrostatic or can be induced into an electrostatic state. The module and the carrier arc detachably connected to one another by means of detachable fixing means. The module can be fitted in a simple manner at a required position along the carrier. Once the electrostatic cleaning means have become contaminated, the module can be quickly and simply exchanged.
