PURPOSE: A method and a system for providing information to the blind are provided to receive the communication ID of a terminal device through a portable wireless device in which interactive communication is available and to provide varying information based on the communication ID, thereby providing convenience to the blind. CONSTITUTION: A terminal device checks device control information corresponding to the terminal control information if the terminal control information of a portable communication device is not a voice output request(415,420). If the terminal control information is a voice output request, the terminal device checks voice output information corresponding to the terminal control information(440). If the voice output information corresponding to the terminal control information, the terminal control device outputs audio on a speaker(445,450).
