FIELD: power engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: IR resistance of each single cell (2) is measured (stage S14), and highest voltage of single cell is set as threshold voltage on the basis of IR resistance and load current (stage S18). Setting highest voltage of single cell uses data chart that approximates volt-ampere characteristics of single cell in case of insufficient supply of fuel gas. In this case highest voltage of single cell is determined on the basis of voltage relative to load current produced from data chart, and IR losses calculated on the basis of IR resistance and load current. This highest voltage of single cell is compared to measured voltage of single cell (stage S22). If voltage of single cell is less than highest voltage of single cell, generation of fuel element capacity is stopped or limited (stage S24). ^ EFFECT: invention prevents degradation of membrane electrodes set, taking place as a result of insufficient supply of fuel gas. ^ 10 cl, 9 dwg |
