<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a base station concentration system and a base station concentrator that restrain an increase in handover control following an increase in the number of accommodation base stations for reducing a load in a radio network control unit, and achieve a handover system capable of coping with soft handover required for high-quality communication. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided the radio network control unit; a base station concentrator that is connected to the radio network control unit via a wire line for communicating data;a plurality of base stations connected to the base station concentrator via the wire line for communicating data; and a mobile connected to the base station via a radio line for mobile communication with the base station. The base station concentrator accommodates the plurality of base stations under the base station concentrator, replicates data transmitted from the radio network control unit for distributing to the base station to be handed over, and selects one of data transmitted from the base station to be handed over for transmitting to the radio network control unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
