The device has an X- ray image amplifier, X-ray source and a shock wave lithotripter provided on a patient bench (1) for detecting an abdominal region of a patient. A supporting stand, the source and an image acquisition device form a connecting line in a vertical projection during vertical radiography of the abdominal region. The line forms a maximum angle of 75 degrees to a longitudinal axis of the bench, where the device leaves a region of the bench to both sides of the bench for accessibility by a person e.g. doctor, where the region of the bench corresponds to the abdominal region. |
