PURPOSE: A functional oriental medicine and a method for preparing the same are provided to improve the taste and smell of the medicine by being roasted at high temperature while maintaining a good nutritional level. CONSTITUTION: An oriental medicine is prepared by a step of washing and cutting the root of Astragalus propinquus, Angelica gigas, and ginseng; roasting the herbal medicine at a temperature of 150-180 degrees for 20-40 minutes; milling the roasted herbal medicine and drying; popping the dried herbal medicine at 140-160 degrees for 8-12 minutes; and storing the herbal medicine in a vacuum packing. At least one of the following herbal materials is added at the first step for preparing the oriental medicine material among Jujube fruit, schisandra fruit, balloon flower root, pueraria, ginger root, cornus fruit, armillaria root, and liquorice root.
