Producing a textile vector protection structure comprises processing permethrin-containing fibers into a textile structure and treating and/or processing the textile structure in a pre-treatment process and/or textile finishing process at temperatures not > 130[deg] C. An independent claim is also included for a textile vector protection structure comprising permethrin-containing fibers, where the textile structure is treated in a pre-treatment process at a temperature not > 130[deg] C and processed in a textile finishing process at a temperature not > 130[deg] C.
