FIELD: metallurgy. ^ SUBSTANCE: preliminary fabricated work-pieces out of fluoroplastic-4 or out of fluoroplastic compositions are fixed on metal surface of items with minimal gap. Fixed items are heated to temperature 643-653 K and conditioned during 1.5-2.0 hours. Fluoroplastic coating is formed due to expansion of melt of poly-tetra-fluoro-ethylene, while required thickness of coating is obtained by multiple repetition of thermal treatment. ^ EFFECT: simplified process and extended assortment of coated items. ^ 4 dwg, 4 ex
