<p>The brake booster has a part capped by a cover (2), and another part capped by a cylinder (3), where junction of the cylinder and the cover is formed by a collar (8). The collar is made of plastic or thermoplastic material. A relief (14) of an end of the cover is embedded fixedly along a relief or shim (16) located on an edge of an inner surface of the collar. Female reliefs (19, 20) of periphery of a diaphragm (4) are interlocked along a male relief (18). A part of a wall of the diaphragm is sandwiched between walls of the cylinder and the cover. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a brake booster.</p> |
