FIELD: transport. ^ SUBSTANCE: brake block is located between load carrying belt 4 and idle belt 5 in the zone of their tracking on and lapping from end drum 6. Brake block is mounted on beam 8 oriented parallel with cargo carrying belt and radially relative to end drum axle 9. Said beam can displace longitudinally in frame guides 10 whereto brake block is spring loaded. Free end of said beam is articulated, by link 13 with horizontal hinged 14, 15 arranged on ends, with pivoted bell crank 17 arranged on the frame to turn thereon in vertical plane. Bell crank smaller arm 18 is linked with said link while larger arm 19 is articulated with armature 20 of electromagnet 21 with its case pivoted on the frame. In initial position, bell crank smaller arm is oriented perpendicular to the beam, electromagnet armature axis is directed perpendicular to larger angle while angle between bell crank arms is taken to be right. Brake block width is taken to equal the end drum cylindrical part width. Brake block represents a cross member 23 oriented parallel to end drum axis and furnished with lugs on both ends. Lugs 26 receive detachable axle with pressure elements fitted thereon and furnished with friction linings. Pressure elements are constricted by cylindrical surface with convexity directed towards said cross member and arranged to turn in vertical plane relative to he axis. Said axle is locked in said lugs by lock nuts. ^ EFFECT: possibility to mount proposed drum directly on drum and to provide required braking force. ^ 3 dwg |
