<p>The method involves monitoring condition of bearings (5, 6) of synchronous machines (3, 4) using frequency channel analysis based on information provided in a drive controller of a drive component. The condition monitoring is executed by a function implemented in the drive controller and/or a digital signal processor and/or a converter, and the information is rotary torque component of a stator current calculated from two phase currents and/or a motor-side calculated rotor position and/or a motor speed actual value signal. An independent claim is also included for a device for monitoring condition of a bearing of a permanently excited synchronous machine comprising an evaluation device for determining and evaluating information provided in a drive controller of a drive component.</p> |
