PURPOSE: A method for inputting the Korean alphabet is provided to input a Korean letter using a small number of keys, thereby increasing typing ability for miniaturized mobile communication devices. CONSTITUTION: A first horizontal stroke '-'corresponds to the shape of the upper side of a square. A second horizontal stroke '-'corresponds to the shape of the lower side of a square. A first vertical stroke 'l' corresponds to the shape of the left side of a square. A second vertical stroke corresponds to the shape of the right side of a square. Five keys displaying the strokes and point stroke '·' are used. To correspond to the shape of a consonant, a consonant of the Korean alphabet is inputted by pressing a combination of keys. |
