A self-wedged depth benchmark is arranged as hollow cylinder at sides of which at outer side coaxially and with possibility of motion at distance of one third of length from the lower edge two rectangular metal plates are fixed, and in the upper section of the cylinder in normal direction with respect to axis of rotation of metal plates opening is drilled for fixation of measuring line.
