ADAPTIVE SUPPORT OF MINE WORKINGS MADE OF SPECIAL PROFILE

An adaptive support of mine workings consists of separate steel arches (rings) made of special profile, that include bearing elements connected with yielding joints with inserts that are placed in gap between the bottoms of the profiles being connected. Connection joints are equipped with adjusting inserts that have radius of curvature corresponding to curvature of support elements and varying rigidity that is chosen depending on value and distribution of load on support.
