METHOD FOR SEALING LINE OF MECHANICAL SUTURE OF LUNG

A method for sealing the line of mechanical suture of the lung comprises thoracotomy, the mechanical suturing, the resection of the lung within the margin of normal tissues. The ligature with Fedorov's forceps is applied onto the angle of the line of mechanical suture covering of the intact lung tissue and the suture itself. The analogous manipulation is performed on the other end of the suture. The ligatures are interconnected by tying them generating the sealed stump.
