A method for diagnosing progression of myopia in the patients with the acquired myopia provides for campimetry of the blind spot with the measurement of its vertical size and the optical coherent tomography of the eye with the assessment of the thickness of peripapillary nerve fibers in the temporal segment. When vertical size of the blind spot is more than 6.16± and the thickness of peripapillary nerve fibers is less than 19,16±2,2 µm, the progression of myopia is predicted. |
