PURPOSE: An imaging device and a controlling method of the same are provided to enable a user to check and delete imaging image which failed to control the focus conveniently. CONSTITUTION: An AF control unit(122) controls focus of a subject image. A photographing unit photographs the subject image according to the controlled focus. A determination unit determines failure whether or not of controlling focus in the photographed subject image. An image reproduction unit summarily displays an image failed to control the focus as a determining result in a reproduction mode.
