PURPOSE: A reinforcing bar connector is provided to improve construction convenience when transferring or keeping reinforcing bar connector at a construction site. CONSTITUTION: A reinforcing bar connector comprises a pipe(120), a plate member(140), an elastic member(160) and pressing member. The pipe forms the outer tube and accepts the steel reinforcement bar whose both sides are opened to outside. The plate member is contacted with the protrusion of the steel reinforcement and restricts the one-way movement of the steel reinforcement. The elastic member locates between the pipe and the steel reinforcement bar and supports multiple plate members.
