PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF POLYCYANURATE

A process for the preparation of polycyanurate involves polycyclotrimerazation of dicyane monomer or oligomer in the presence of catalyst with increasing temperature. A solution of dicyane monomer or oligomer in acetone or methyl-ethyl ketone is mixed with montmorillonite, solvent is removed with heating at 100 °C in vacuum and then is heated from 100 °C to 320 °C for 4 h. montmorillonite is used in amount of 2-5 wt. %, and mixing is carried out by ultrasound (22kHz) for 5 min. Organomodified montmorillonite is used as montmorillonite.
