METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OF LENGTH OF DEEPENED INTO EARTH ROD CONSTRUCTION

Method for determination of length of deepened into earth rod construction, for instance pile, is in excitation of head of construction with mechanical impart and measurement by means of acoustic transformer installed on head of construction of doubled time of propagation of longitudinal wave from head to basis of construction or frequency of first form of natural longitudinal vibrations in spectrum of signal and its calculation by known velocity of longitudinal wave and measured parameters. Acoustic transformer is installed on earth at some distance from construction and by means of that one period of vibrations is measured, this corresponds to doubled time of propagation of longitudinal wave from head to basis of construction, or frequency of first phase of natural longitudinal vibrations, and by measured parameters and known velocity of longitudinal wave in construction one calculates its length.
