A method for parachute-less landing from helicopters of Mi-8/Mi-8MT/Mi-8MTV types flying at extremely low altitudes, at which previously renovation of cargo compartment of helicopter is carried out by installing additional equipment for parachute-less landing - two cantilever beams with braces and cross beams and fastening in the cantilever beams of a rope. After opening of a side door the free end of rope is dropped into the triangular hatch of cargo compartment. After approach to the triangular hatch of cargo compartment the rope is gripped by extremities providing secure holding. The landing operation is carried out along the rope till the contact by a paratrooper of the surface area, over which the process of parachute-less landing is carried out.
