The method involves detecting presence of liquid e.g. water, in an exterior surface of a vehicle after parking the vehicle, and closing a mobile element in the event of effective presence of the liquid in the exterior surface of the vehicle. A detection of the liquid is stopped, and the mobile element is closed at an end of an implementation period which is limited to 72 hours. A determination is made whether openings of the vehicle are locked and the openings are unlocked if required in advance to all openings of the movable element. An independent claim is also included for a device for automatically closing a movable element e.g. glass and sunroof, of a vehicle. |
