The process comprises producing a concrete slab (1) for receiving a settling tank (3) and a clarification tank of a settler, and mounting the settling and clarification tanks on the slab. Bottom of the tanks is formed from a flat upper side (2) of the slab, where the upper side is devoid of positive or negative design. A control body (5) is disposed around a lower end (6) of each tank, and present in the form of ring equipped with a veil extending towards the ring. The veil is in support with the slab when the control body is in position. The process comprises producing a concrete slab (1) for receiving a settling tank (3) and a clarification tank of a settler, and mounting the settling and clarification tanks on the slab. Bottom of the tanks is formed from a flat upper side (2) of the slab, where the upper side is devoid of positive or negative design. A control body (5) is disposed around a lower end (6) of each tank, and present in the form of ring equipped with a veil extending towards the ring. The veil is in support with the slab when the control body is in position. A sealed joint is inserted between the slab and the control body and/or lower ends of the tanks. A layer of settled mineral material is collected at the bottom of the settling tank to immobilize in a collected body layer and a tube for spreading the mineral materials. The settled mineral material is further collected between the bottom of the settling tank and a scraping body. An independent claim is included for a mineral material settler.
