SOLUTION POLYMERIZATION FOR PREPARING ACRYLONITRILE PRECURSOR FOR CARBON FIBER

PURPOSE: A solution polymerization method for manufacturing an acrylonitrile precursor for a carbon fiber is provided to prevent the decrease of the molecular weight by effectively controlling the increase of the reaction temperature. CONSTITUTION: An acrylonitrile polymer includes the following: 95~99.5wt% of acrylonitrile; and 0.5~5wt% of compounds selected from the group consisting of methyl acrylate, acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, and itaconic acid. A manufacturing method of the acrylonitrile polymer includes the following steps: forming a mixed solution containing a polymerizing monomer and a polymerization solvent; adding a solvent for removing the reaction heat; and starting the polymerization.
