The tool has a blade (6) cutting out a protection film of a body of a motor vehicle along an interstice (3). The blade comprises bearing surfaces (7a, 7b) remote from a cutting edge (6c) of the blade on each one of side faces (6a, 6b). The blade supports on an edge of one of two surfaces adjacent to the interstice. Each bearing surface extends on the total length of the blade parallel to the cutting edge.
